Blogging, SEO, Online Marketing, .....

I have learned so much in just the last few months about blogging, online article submission sites, SEO, online zines, the list goes on and on to infinity.

I have always wanted to be a writer. When I was a young girl, I would write short stories and poems almost daily. As I grew up and decided it would be a really hard way to make a living (at least in the early '80's) I just stopped writing and started reading instead.

In today's world, it is so much easier for a writer to get started making a living. I guess I have to expand that to say it's probably easier for any business to get started, as far as being able to draw themselves publicity- many times for free!

Many people are going into business for themselves, out of necessity, in the current slump. Some have always wanted to, and being laid off afforded them the opportunity. Others are less enthusiastic converts, preferring the relative safety (now? I don't think so) of a 9 to 5 job.

I think that regardless of what path you choose at this point, the internet remains the present and future of marketing any business. So get to work learning all you can about who the experts are, what the best sites are for your particular interests, when and where you should advertise, and how do you put it all together into a marketing campaign that will drive traffic to your business, whether it's in cyberspace or brick and mortar.

Internet will evolve with the same rate (ok, a step slower) than the sum of all human minds. Thanks for sharing by the way!
